Today’s Parish Announcements – 5th Sunday of Lent (22.03.2026)

We are celebrating the 5th Sunday of Lent.

We are drawing closer to Holy Week and the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord. May this sacred time be for all of us a season of prayer, conversion, and reconciliation with God.

In today’s announcements you will find the Mass schedule, information about Lenten devotions, Easter confession, and the most important parish events in the coming days.

1️⃣ Sunday Masses ⛪

Peterborough:
Holy Masses at 7.30, 10.45, 12.30, 19.15.
Lenten Lamentations: at 19.00.

Wisbech:
Holy Mass on 29.03 at 15.30.
Easter confession in Wisbech on Palm Sunday at 15.30.

2️⃣ Easter Confession ✝️

3️⃣ Weekday Masses 🗓️

Tuesday – Friday: Holy Mass at 19.15.

4️⃣ Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament 🙏

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place from Tuesday to Friday at 18.30.

🌿 PALM SUNDAY – 29.03.2026 🌿

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday, which begins the Week of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

5️⃣ Parish Café ☕

The parish café will be open after the Holy Mass at 10.45.

6️⃣ Parish Office 🏢

The parish office is open on Thursday from 16.00 to 18.00 and during the week after the evening Holy Masses at 19.15.

7️⃣ Stations of the Cross ✝️

The Stations of the Cross take place on Friday after Holy Mass at 19.45 and will be led by the Friends of the Bridegroom Community.

8️⃣ Easter Decorations 🕯️

On Sunday after the Holy Masses, altar servers from the LSO will be selling Easter candles and decorations.

The proceeds from the sale will go towards the altar servers’ trip.

9️⃣ Lenten Almsgiving 💝

The Maltese cadets and volunteers are collecting this year’s Lenten almsgiving for a Sensory Garden with flowers and herbs for the seniors of Laxton Hall.

The collection takes place in our church after the Holy Masses at the exit of the church.

A QR code for online donations is also available on the poster.

🔟 Easter Palms and Lambs 🌿

The cadets and volunteers will be distributing on Saturday and Sunday, 22 and 29 March, handmade:

🐑 Easter lambs
🥧 mini Easter mazurek cakes
