Parish Announcements – Third Sunday of Advent (GAUDETE)

We celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent – GAUDETE (Rejoice), a Sunday of joy and hope as we await the coming of the Lord.

The collection for church rent and maintenance amounted to £751.30. We encourage everyone to take part in the Rorate Masses, Adoration, and to make use of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

1️⃣ Holy Masses ⛪

THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT – GAUDETE – 14.12.2025
Peterborough (Sunday): 7:30, 10:45, 12:30, 19:15.
Wisbech: Holy Mass on Sunday 14.12.2025 at 15:30 (Christmas Confession).
Weekday Masses (Peterborough):
– Tuesday: Holy Mass at 19:15,
– Wednesday: 7:00 – RORATE MASS and Holy Mass at 19:15,
– Thursday & Friday (children’s Rorate): Holy Mass at 19:15,
– Saturday: 7:00 – RORATE MASS and Holy Mass at 19:15.
From 18:30 – Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunity for Confession.

2️⃣ Christmas Confession in Peterborough ✝️

Christmas Confession in Peterborough will take place on Tuesday, 23.12.2025, from 17:00 to 20:00.

3️⃣ Parish Office 🏢

The Parish Office is open on Thursdays from 16:00 to 18:00.
You may also speak to the priest during the week after evening Masses at 19:15.

4️⃣ Christmas Concert 🎶

After the Holy Mass at 10:45, a Christmas Concert will be performed by students and teachers of the Polish Music Centre in Peterborough.
We sincerely thank all students and teachers for this beautiful concert of carols and traditional Christmas songs.

5️⃣ Christmas 2025 🎄

Christmas Eve – Midnight Masses (24.12.2025, Wednesday): 20:00, 22:00, 24:00. Christmas Day (25.12.2025, Thursday): Holy Masses at 10:45, 12:30 and 19:15.
Wisbech: 15:30. St Stephen’s Day (26.12.2025, Friday): Holy Masses at 10:45, 12:30 and 19:15.
Wisbech: 15:30.

6️⃣ Christmas Wafers (Opłatki) 🕯️

Blessed Christmas wafers are available in the sacristy.

7️⃣ Christmas Parcels for the Poor 🎁

All donations may be brought to the parish hall after Holy Mass on Saturday and Sunday (13–14.12.2025).
A heartfelt God bless you for your generosity.

8️⃣ Christmas Eve for the Lonely 🌟

We invite those who are alone to a shared Christmas Eve meal on 24.12.2025 at 15:00 in the parish hall.
Please register in the sacristy.

9️⃣ Pastoral Visit – 2026 🏠

Invitation forms for the 2026 pastoral visit (Kolęda) are available in church.
Please complete them clearly and place them in the box marked “KOLĘDA 2026”.
